The Bankruptcy and Finance Information Network Exchange (BFINE) is a public information education project of the National Association of Chapter Thirteen Trustees (NACTT). Our objective is to provide information to Americans on consumer bankruptcy and personal finance in order to assist them in making educated decisions on finances throughout all stages of life.
The NACTT believes that financial education is important for all Americans. Financial education will help consumers know what options are available when they have financial hardships.
When bankruptcy is necessary, it is an opportunity for consumers (like you) who experience financial hardships to have a fresh start. NACTT founded the BFINE project to banish the stigma around filing bankruptcy and to help Americans make sound financial decisions in order to avoid bankruptcy.
BFINE.org features articles from third party media as well as original articles from the Association’s members and colleagues. Opinions expressed in any of these documents are expressly those of the author and not the Association.
